    i know i said your part in redguy tapes sounded like a boss battle, but you know, upon listening again, that part in the beginning that repeats through most of the song reminds me a bit of this song: . i honestly have no clue why, it might be the effects, or the atmosphere created at first. but, nonetheless, you should listen to this song, its so unique and yet not well known at all.

    @SYNRGY @Lavalamp I added a guitar riff (same as square lead) to the collab but I don't know how to polish or add more to it. If one of you could do it that would be great, thanks.

    Is using Presets really bad? That’s what they are there for. It really doesn’t make sense to try to make sounds from scratch if you’re trying to produce a track quickly. What are with these amateur beatmakers saying you can’t use presets?

      I support presets, they're pretty cool. I do think it's better to learn sound design in the long term because it will be faster than endlessly scrolling through the preset list for the right one.

      Depends on if you want to be an independent music producer or not. If you want to release your music through a record label, just read the Ts and Cs, such as Rushdown only excepting properly mixed colour bass music. If not, just go with whatever you want!

      Oh yeah, and copyright. If you're ever using a melody from another persons song or sampling another track, just check if its copyrighted or not. It'll most likely not be copyrighted if its an independent release.

      Trying to make an album but I don't know where to start. I can make music but I don't know anything about record labels, copyright- that kind of stuff.
